|Recommended: YesVery cozy and comfortable living — I enjoy the antique building and it's charms inside and out. For one or two people, the space is cozy but big enough to be comfortable. I can tell the management prioritizes function and upkeep of everything. A nice surprise, I am always treated well and promptly when I visit the office next door with a request or submit a maintenance order.
|Recommended: NoProperty is in a great location — Prime location but the walls can be thin and if you ever have a maintenance order and ask to be notified when the maintenance people are coming over, they never tell you. They just show up so you might not even be ready. It’s an old building and if it’s really cold out, then it’s freezing in here despite the radiators being on. If it’s hot out then it’s hot in here.
|Recommended: YesGrand Victorian — The house is nice and a good place overall. Being on Gorham St does have its downfalls however due to the traffic volume. Staff is really helpful with all questions I have. Maintenance is great for getting jobs done as soon as possible Since it is a house, the walls can be a bit thin, but nothing unbearable.
|Recommended: NoWould not recommend — My boyfriend and I do not enjoy living here. Our first day we replaced the shower head because the previous one did not work, we called MGE because our oven was warm even though it was off and they came and looked at it and said they're not quite sure why, we cannot cook anything in our oven above 350 degrees because the fire alarm will go off and the maintenance crew said there is nothing they can do about it, if you are tall you would not be able to fit in our kitchen because the ceilings are so low, when I asked about laundry during my tour they said it was in the building but neglected to tell me we had to leave the building and reenter from the back to get to the laundry, and when I asked about what the cost of living here would be with everything included they neglected to mention that renters insurance was required and that if we didn't have our own the charge would be added to our rent. This is not all of the things I dislike about living here but most. Possibly a different apartment within this building would be okay but I wouldn't even recommend it.
